Oxygen and the metal hypervalent oxide in the catalyst are directly oxidized by heating to form metal high-valent oxide, so as to remove the oxygen. Similarly, hydrogen is reacted, and the metal hypervalent oxide is back to low-valent one, so that the catalyst once again can remove oxygen, then the water is removed by a dryer.
